9.16 Predict Disulfide Bond
Next

This option allows you to scan pairs of residues in two input residue selections that can be replaced by Cysteines forming a disulfide bridge. To do this:

  • Read in a PDB structure.
  • Select one or more chains using the regular green selection as well as the orange selection. If the second argument is empty it is assumed equal to the first selection.
  • Tools/Design/Disulfide Bridges
  • The procedure returns a table called CysBridges with possible pairs sorted by the strain associated with the bridge.
